Experiencing inconsistent Meta ad results and high cost per purchase?

Your Meta ad account is likely using default Meta settings, auto-bidding for highest volume objectives. This means Meta prioritises spending your budget over delivering results at your desired ROAS and cost per purchase, leading to inefficient spending and wild volatility. Sadly it’s a common mistake that many ecommerce advertisers are making. The good news is that there's a better, more efficient way to advertise which ensures that the business is profitable on every new customer order. Find out how we can help you to lower your cost per purchase and scale your Meta ad account profitably.

How it works - 5 Steps

1. Welcome & Onboarding

Receive your welcome package. We'll outline what you can expect working with us, our collaborative workflow, the subsequent steps, and share tips for a successful partnership. This is your guide to understanding our process and how we’ll achieve cheaper cost per purchase for you.

Tell us your current or most recent cost per purchase and your target cost. This vital information sets the stage for the tailored cost controlled advertising campaign.

2. Foundational Unit Economics

Setting the bid: You'll receive our unit economics calculator (Google Sheet) to capture key info relating to your product such as AOV, cost of goods sold and other costs. This crucial step helps us determine the optimal bid for your campaign, ensuring we're aligned with your financial goals from the start.

3. Gaining Insight

Account Access: For a deep dive into your advertising efforts, we will request access to your Meta ad account. It's the next step towards personalising your bid strategy.

Analytical Review: We will meticulously review your current and recent cost per purchase data.

4. Campaign Build

Crafting Your Campaign: Drawing on historical data, we pinpoint the ad creative in your ad account that has historically performed best in terms of purchase volume. We will use this existing ad creative to build your cost controlled campaign.

Audience Optimisation:
We will leverage the audiences with the highest purchase data and best engagement, adding it into a new, finely-tuned campaign set up with your optimised cost controlled bid. This campaign is strategically bid to meet your desired cost goals.

5. Transparent Reporting & Guidance

Insights and Guidance: After two weeks of launch, you'll receive your first concise PDF report from your dedicated Meta Ads Specialist detailing the progress and results of your cost-controlled campaign. If you choose our complete plan, you will benefit from both weekly and monthly reporting as well as on-going campaign launches for promos, tests and retargeting.

$93k to $300k+ per month at 3.5 ROAS

This women's Fashion brand in the US used our complete plan to scale revenue profitably. Using Cost Controls and Bid Cap advertising, we were able to rapidly grow their monthly revenue from $93k to over $300k at a 3.5 ROAS. This was a +230% increase in net revenue on the previous year. In the month that followed, we took the net revenue to $440k for the business with a laser focus on first order profitability.

Reduced Cost per purchase by -81% After 1 Month

After a year of struggling to get their cost per purchase low enough to make sense of continued advertising on Meta, this US T-Shirt brand enlisted our help with the basic plan. Following a deep dive into their cost per purchase and unit economics, we built an optimised cost control campaign and significantly reduced their cost per purchase. Their cost per purchase reduced by -81% in 1 month by introducing cost controls and achieved a 3.27 ROAS on the spend.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does my business need to be a certain size?

Yes, our service is suited to established and growing ecommerce brands who are already advertising on Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and generating over $30,000 per month in revenue. Your ad account will need to have good quality ad creatives that have already driven high purchase volume so that they can be utilised in your new cost controlled structure. If your ecommerce business isn’t quite at this level yet, we're not right for you at this time.

How does the monthly payment work?

The monthly plan is charged at the beginning of the month (Before 5th). This covers the period up to the end of each calendar month. You can pause or cancel your plan at any time.

Do you produce ad creatives for us?

No, we don’t. Our plans are suited to ecommerce brand owners who are already generating revenue of over $30,000 per month with Meta Ads and have good quality existing or historic ad creatives with strong purchase volume that can be leveraged for our cost control set up and management.

How long does it take before we start to see a reduced cost per purchase?

Typically, we have found that within 2-3 weeks, you will begin to see a compelling reduction in cost per purchase. Initially, your assigned Meta Ad specialist may need to adjust bid caps to encourage your campaign to spend if the auction is particularly competitive.

What's the difference between default Meta auto-bid and cost controls?

Your ad account is likely using default Meta settings, auto-bidding for highest volume objectives. This means Meta prioritises spending your budget over delivering results at your desirable ROAS and cost per purchase, leading to inefficient spending and wild volatility. Cost controls use a bid cap (max threshold) to determine the most the business is willing to spend to acquire a customer.
